Il cinema, il cinema, il cinema, il cinema prestazioni, Il suo lavoro si ispira sia ai manufatti archeologici che al mondo naturale, esplorando le fluttuazioni temporali tra le antiche civiltà e le società contemporanee. Ha ricevuto il Leone d'argento alla Biennale di Venezia. Ha presentato le sue opere alla Bource de Commerce della Collezione Pinault, al Museo Egizio di Torino, alla Fondazione Giacometti e alla National Gallery di Londra. Ha partecipato alle biennali di Venezia, San Paolo, Kochi-Muziris, Sharjah, nonché alla Ural Industrial Biennial of Contemporary Art e a Manifesta. Le sue opere sono presenti nelle collezioni del MoMA, del Centre Pompidou, del Guggenheim, del MACBA, del British Museum e del Jameel Arts Centre.

Ambientada en la zona fronteriza entre Chipre y el norte ocupado, The Watchman explora el deterioro del concepto de frontera a través de la narración rutinaria de un soldado que vigila sin un fin concreto. Agotado por los protocolos que rigen su vida, el encuentro con una mujer de edad marca un giro onírico en el que la aparición de figuras ambiguas cuestiona su realidad. La película crea un universo en el que un tiempo suspendido y vacío abre la puerta a presencias fantasmales de un pasado marcado por la guerra, convirtiéndose en una metáfora de la disolución de las certezas acerca del enemigo, el deber y el concepto de frontera.

Set in the border zone between Cyprus and the occupied north, The Watchman explores the erosion of the concept of borders through the monotonous narration of a soldier who keeps watch without a clear purpose. Weary from the protocols that govern his life, an encounter with an elderly woman marks a dreamlike turning point, as the appearance of ambiguous figures begins to challenge his sense of reality. The film constructs a universe where suspended, empty time opens the door to ghostly presences from a war-torn past, becoming a metaphor for the dissolution of certainties surrounding the enemy, duty, e the very notion of borders.
